Reepham: Church Website of the Year – Vote Now!!
June 20th, 2009
The Reepham Benefice website has been shortlisted for the award of ‘Church Website of the Year’, making the final list of 10, from hundreds of church websites nominated up and down the country. The award (amongst others, which are being run by The Church Times in partnership with Christian Aid) will be presented at a ceremony in July.
The award is to be decided by the general public – for the website they think deserves the prestigious title of ‘Church Website of the Year’ – and voting is now open. So, if you have a computer at home, or at work, or if a friend could help you out, why not show your support for the Reepham Benefice website and vote for it in this year’s awards. Details of website links can be found below.
Judges were tasked with examining the hundreds of church websites with a very strict list of requirements. The final 10 websites were shortlisted on the basis of design, ease of use, navigation, use of images, quality of content, search results ranking, engagement with new visitors to the site, use of technology and regularity of updates. It is, therefore, a wonderful testament to the people who have been involved in the development and ongoing maintenance of the Reepham Benefice website that the judges were able to find all those things present in it.
Naturally, winning the award would be a wonderful thing indeed; however I really believe Reepham has already won just by being recognised by the judges from the hundreds of other worthy candidates throughout the country. Why not show your support and visit the Reepham Benefice website to see for yourself what the judges found, and what the 1,000+ visitors to the website each month find that keeps them coming back time and again.
