Reepham Benefice

Six years ago, a few members of the Reepham Church congregation, following the encouragement of the then Rector, took a leap of faith. On three or four Sundays a year, evening worship was held which combined gentle Irish and Scottish music, prayers from Lindisfarne, words and songs from Iona. There were also insights from the early Celtic saints who brought the Good News of Gods love for his creation to these islands-Columba, Aidan, Cuthbert, Patrick, Fursey, Cedd.
More people began to appreciate the simplicity, the informality, the silence, and the joy of Celtic worship. These gatherings have continued, and the next Celtic worship will be held on Sunday February 15th 2009 at 6.30 p.m. in St. Michaels church. All are welcome.
