Well, the day is almost here! Some 12 minutes away. A day which, for many people, is the most important feast day of the year. Many of us, I’m sure, in a few hours time will be spending the day together with family and friends, sharing the importance of that day, sharing the message of peace and goodwill that  the angels brought.

And that day is an opportunity to talk, to enjoy, to relax, to give and to receive. And we need to take advantage of that because in a few days time it will all be over - the tree will be sent to the recycling centre or put back into the loft; the remains of the turkey will have been eaten and we’ll get back to our daily grind, with tomorrow a dim and distant memory.

So what is Christmas all about? Well I don’t know if you enjoy watching the Christmas specials from years gone by - well, I do. I was in fits of laughter the other day when Angela and I sat down to watch and episode of the Good Life...
