David Cleall

Churchwarden - Reepham

I was born at Antingham in 1937 ( leave you to do the math's), 4th and youngest son of a London Father (wounded in first world war) and Norfolk born Mother who was in service in London. Now retired and living in Reepham.

What does my faith mean to me?  It means that Jesus died on the cross for my sin’s and I am trying to reconcile that through my work in his Church.

Liz Rashid

Churchwarden - Reepham

I have lived in Reepham since 1980 and have been involved in the church since then.  Before my retirement I was a Primary School teacher and while my children were young I supervised the playgroup in Reepham for 15 years.  I have been a PCC member for several years and am involved in organising social events and fundraising.  I particularly enjoy meeting and interacting with people and I see this as an important part of my duties as churchwarden.

Jolyon Booth

Jolyon is a retired teacher of Maths and Computer Science. Before that he was an actor. Since teaching, he has been a proprietor of a holiday company (walking and cycling in Norfolk). After that he became involved in the Parish Council, the Reepham Society and North Norfolk Talking Newspaper.

What does my faith mean to me? “All shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well. Of, course it's a lot more complicated than that - constantly changing yet firm - expanding and focusing - full of challenging doubts and stronger certainties.”

Gill Wells

Hi!  I am currently training to be an Ordained Local Minister.  This means that I will work as a priest on a voluntary basis in the Reepham Benefice and I hope to be ordained as a deacon in 2010.  I’ve lived in Reepham since 1985 and love living in this thriving town.  My husband Bernie and I met bell ringing and we hope to get the bells ringing regularly in Reepham soon.   We have three children and three grandchildren.  I work for Norfolk Adult Education setting up English and maths classes for adults in Wells, Fakenham, Dereham and Watton.

Andrea Miles

Hi! My name’s Andrea Miles and I am the new Youth Pastor, working for Rayzone. I’ve recently completed my BA (Hons) degree in Music at Wolverhampton where I’ve met some amazing people and where my faith has grown stronger.

I’ve always known I wanted to work with young people, and through trying out various other jobs, such as teaching and voluntary work, I finally realised that I was being called to be a youth worker, or youth pastor. I’ve always had a reasonably strong faith. That’s not to say that there haven’t been ups and downs, because there have been, but God has always helped me through.

I have a passion for bringing young people to God, which is something I’ve always felt strongly about, ever since I set up a Christian Union whilst I was still in High School. I would love to see Rock Solid grow in numbers, with another group set up for the teenagers who are too old for Rock Solid. I love seeing young Christians worshipping God, as often they don’t worry what they look like which then leaves them free to worship from the heart. I think it is important for young people to have Youth Services where they can worship how they want to, and also be involved in the preparation of the worship.

More important than this, however, is to listen to God and do what He wants, for no matter what I want to do in Reepham, I know that it its not Gods will then it won’t happen. This is one lesson I was ‘lucky’ enough to learn the hard way, but ultimately it’s made my faith stronger as I’ve gone back to God and asked for his help.

Ted Williams

Verger - Reepham

“I’m Ted Willems, and I’ve recently been appointed Verger. I’ve lived in Reepham for over 20 years, and much of my life in Norfolk. Not surprisingly I take an active interest in wildlife and enjoy walking. I’ve played bowls (federation rules) as my sport (I was champion bowler for two years at Reepham). For the last 25 years, i have run my own small business: a mini brewery based on an industrial estate in Reepham, Reepham Brewery with my parents, Denis and Sybil. I studied at Newcastle University. “
