Reepham Benefice

Mothers’ Union is an international campaigning Anglican organisation seeking to strengthen, preserve and manage family life through Christianity. Our Reepham branch has about 15 members who meet monthly in afternoons in homes, but occasionally in the evening.
Our programme includes interesting speakers, quiet devotional afternoons, fund raising events for local and overseas M.U. projects, and linking in with deanery and diocesan events, as well as local church activities, baptisms and marriage preparation.
As a small group within the church we support each other, especially those unable be present because of age or illness. Our 2008-09 programme includes our AGM followed by lunch together; ‘In the steps of Aidan and Cuthbert’; a quiet afternoon; and an evening meeting about chaplaincy work in a prison.
